Update (8/2): This issue has been completely resolved. All high-resolution images can be downloaded using the ‘Hi-Res Download’ button directly from nasaimages.org. We have also added the ability to download high-resolution uncompressed TIFF files when available. Right now this features is only available in the Johnson Space Center Media Archive, but we hope to implement it into other collections in the future. In the mean time start downloading high-resolution uncompressed TIFF files from the Apollo 11 mission!

We have run into some issues with downloading high-resolution images directly from nasaimages.org. We are working on getting this fixed, but in the mean-time here’s a work around:
- Navigate to the image you are interested in downloading a Hi-Res copy of.
- Look in the meta-data (text located in the left hand column) for the field titled ‘Source’.
- Follow the link to the item page on archive.org.
- Here you will be able to download the original High-Resolution file.
Thank you for your patience as we work to fix this issue. If you are experiencing any related issues or are having trouble downloading the Hi-Res file from archive.org, please let us know in the comments or by emailing info@nasaimages.org.
